The Role:

We are looking for a full-time Full Stack Team Lead with strong background with PHP/MySQL and React JS.
The candidate will develop new application features and maintain existing ones, someone who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. This position requires experience in making decisions and working both independently and as part of a small, dynamic team where everything the candidate does makes a difference.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop innovative solutions for our platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including product management and design, to ensure seamless alignment and delivery of an optimal solution.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, code reviews, and PR merges.
• Act as a leader of the team, addressing problems/blockers/issues for our sizable technical teams.

Person Specifications:

• Proven experience as a Lead with strong backend software development skills
• Mastery in at least one major PHP framework (Phalcon, Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
• Proven prowess with React (with React Native or Next.js framework) • In-depth understanding of MySQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Mastery of RESTful API development.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Node.js proficiency, especially with websockets.
• Acquaintance with TypeScript.
• Experience working with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Previous team/tech leading experience – Especially if you’ve successfully managed challenges and blockers for teams of 5 or more!
