Affiliate Manager – Malta

Company was established in 2006, based in the Waterloo/Southwark area with circa 200 employees working for us in London, and an additional 450 employees working globally as part of the group.

GIMO specialises in all aspects of online marketing, website and online games creation in the iGaming, Sports Betting, Poker, and Casino industries. Gimo works in close partnership with leading global gaming brands such as NetBet, 777, and betFIRST.
We have a very multicultural team here at GIMO with employees specialising in all aspects of Marketing, Affiliation Marketing, Development, Web Design, Content, Analysis, Software Development and Customer Service.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Vice President of Digital Acquisition to develop and deliver the Affiliate programme and strategy for the assigned markets.
  • Execute the affiliate strategy through effective management of the current affiliates.
  • Driving strategic partnerships by creating strategic relationships that will grow into successful business models for the brands’ partners.
  • Studying relevant ventures and seize market opportunities to identify targets and goals.
  • Managing pipeline information and partner relationships to identify potential new business opportunities, growth opportunities or future trends.
  • Presenting to and consulting with management on business trends to develop and/or scale partnerships.
  • Developing a testing roadmap for key relationships, to ensure we constantly learn and refine our activity.
  • Develop an effective twelve-month affiliate outreach strategy which drives acquisition and retention from existing publishers and new partnerships
  • Recruit targeted affiliates & influencers that are aligned with brand values and are advocates of our offering
  • Accountable for reporting, measuring, and communicating channel performance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Responsible for forecasting ROI and activity for all affiliate partners – both new and existing.
  • Responsible for budget management for affiliate and partnership activity
  • Ensure all ROI and sales targets are met through the affiliate channels and partnerships.
  • Manage relationships with the affiliate partners
  • Help to grow revenue from new 3rd party partnerships
  • Monitor and analyse affiliate performance, competitor propositions and industry trends to ensure effectiveness and profitability of the channel. Make recommendations for improvements based on performance data
  • Ensure all affiliate traffic is correctly tagged, tracked and reported on
  • Deliver weekly progress, commission and activity reports for all affiliate partners
  • Be an internal advocate for emerging trends, technologies and opportunities in the affiliate channel
  • Adopt a test and learn approach to continually improve and grow the channel
  • Collaborate with the creative teams and other acquisition and marketing channels to develop and deploy affiliate marketing material and/or promotions
  • Responsible for SEO outreach and negotiations with publishers in the Greek market working together with Senior SEO Manager and Country Manager.

Person Specification:

  • Based in Malta
  • Experience in affiliation for a gambling operator is a must.
  • This person must have great negotiating skills, great at managing his time, performance oriented.
  • Greek native speaker – Mandatory
  • Experience with SEO outreach – Helpful
